Robbins Announces
Aid to Help Crawford County Fund Solid Waste Plan
Harrisburg – State Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) today announced the
approval of a $41,000 state grant to help Crawford County plan its
waste management.
Robbins said the grant will be used to reimburse up to 80 percent
of the costs to revise the county's solid waste management plan.
"This grant will help Crawford County pay for the planning
required to keep its waste management plan up to date. It's
important that legislators make sure counties receive state
assistance to help cover the cost of state mandates for solid waste
management and other areas," said Robbins.
The grant is being awarded through the County Planning Grant
Program, administered by the state Department of Environmental
Protection.
